Mindbank Consulting Group has a long-term contract position for a cleared Senior Help Desk Technician (Tier 3) supporting our Navy customer onsite in Arlington, VA. Candidates must have an active Secret clearance as well as a current Sec+ cert. Salary is up to ~$90,000 annually and is based on each candidate’s professional experience and skills.
The Senior Help Desk Technician (Tier 3) will provide hands-on technical support and leadership. This role serves as a senior escalation point for complex technical issues while also assisting the help desk team with day-to-day tasks, projects, and client initiatives. The ideal candidate brings strong Tier 3 troubleshooting expertise, Navy or DoD experience, and the ability to lead while remaining actively engaged in solving technical problems.
Sr. Help Desk Technician (Tier 3) Responsibilities:
· Performs in-depth analysis, diagnosis and resolution of desktop and workstations.
· Serves as the point of contact for escalated Tier Two troubleshooting of PC h/w and s/w, printer problems and network applications.
· Experience in troubleshooting mobile devices.
· Support and backfill Video Teleconference (VTC) and Wireless technician with experience working in both areas.
· Navy Trusted Agent for issuing SIPR Tokens.
Sr. Help Desk Technician (Tier 3) Qualifications: You must meet these qualifications to be considered. If you have this experience, please show it in your resume. Please don’t worry about length of resume – I don’t!
· U.S. Citizen with an active Secret (or higher) clearance.
· Must have a current Security+ Certification.
· At least seven (7) years of professional experience in Information Technology, with four (4) years specialized experience in PC and wireless technologies, including expert knowledge of PC operating systems, networking and mail standards and experience working with a team in a help desk environment.
· Experience as a Navy Trusted Agent for issuing SIPR Tokens.
· Must have some demonstrated leadership experience to assist with the helpdesk on tasks, projects, and client’s initiatives.
· Demonstrate the ability to communicate orally and in writing and must have a positive customer service attitude. Experience supporting VIPs is very relevant and helpful!
