Description
In this role in Maumee, Ohio, you will focus on analyzing and documenting business processes to ensure operational efficiency and clarity. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in process mapping and workflow analysis, along with excellent communication and organizational skills.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with subject matter experts to gain a thorough understanding of current operational workflows.
Create detailed process maps, flowcharts, and decision trees using tools such as Microsoft Visio or similar diagramming software.
Document end-to-end processes, including steps, decision logic, exceptions, and alternative paths.
Identify areas of inefficiency or gaps within workflows, suggesting potential improvements.
Transform complex or unstructured information into clear, actionable documentation.
Ensure all documentation is well-organized, easy to comprehend, and ready for use by business and operational teams.
Work with stakeholders to validate the accuracy and completeness of all mapped processes.
Develop high-quality process maps and materials efficiently, ensuring attention to detail.
Observe business operations when necessary to gather relevant information for documentation purposes.
Requirements
Proven experience in process mapping, process documentation, or workflow analysis.
Proficiency in Microsoft Visio or similar diagramming tools like Lucidchart, Draw.io, or Miro.
Solid background in Business Analysis, Project Management, Process Improvement, or related fields.
Ability to quickly understand business operations and ask targeted questions to clarify workflows.
Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
Capability to work independently with minimal supervision while engaging with subject matter experts.
Familiarity with process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen is a plus.
Experience in manufacturing, operations, compliance, or technical environments is desirable but not required.
