Summary:

This critical role will be responsible for the administration, maintenance, and support of our enterprise-wide Vendor Neutral Archive (VNA) and related imaging systems. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of clinical imaging workflows and have extensive experience and expertise with Hyland Acuo VNA, NilRead, PACSGear and other related imaging applications.

Provides the highest-level technical expertise in the development, modification and implementation of software systems designed to support new or existing business, clinical, and/or administrative computerized needs across the health care system. Responsible for all technical phases of projects and regularly lead entire projects that involve multiple departments and entities.

Responsibilities:

  1. Administer, maintain, and support the Hyland Acuo Vendor Neutral Archive (VNA), NilRead Enterprise Viewer, and PACSGear applications.
  2. Provide technical oversight of various ancillary clinical imaging applications.
  3. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to software, hardware, and network connectivity.
  4. Collaborate with providers and other clinical staff to ensure optimal system performance.
  5. Implement application upgrades, patches, and enhancements including the oversight of system security patches and interventions.
  6. Monitor system performance and proactively identify and resolve potential issues.
  7. Develops and maintains support documentation, provide technical training and consultation to teammates.
  8. Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support.
  9. Manage small to intermediate clinical imaging application projects and initiatives.
  10. Work closely with vendors to resolve technical issues, escalate problems, track fixes into releases, and advocate for new/enhanced functionality to meet the needs of constituency.

Other Information

Education Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management or related field (or equivalent combination of education, training and experience).

  • CIIP
  • ARRT


Professional Experience Requirements:

  • If a Bachelor's degree: Eight (8) years of progressive experience in computer programming and applications analysis.
  • If an Associate's degree: Twelve (12) years of progressive experience in computer programming and applications analysis.
  • If a High School diploma or GED: Sixteen (16) years of progressive experience in computer programming and applications analysis.
