Position Summary The
Senior Applications Developer (.NET Development Team) develops, analyzes, troubleshoots, and supports enterprise .NET-based applications responsible for core financial and accounting systems. As a key member of the development team, this role is responsible for the end-to-end design and implementation of client and server software solutions that align with critical business requirements.
Requirements & Qualifications Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and hands-on professional experience.
- 8+ years of professional programming experience, with at least 3 years focused on full-lifecycle software development.
- Proven background in designing and developing client/server architectures.
- AI Tooling & Integration Experience (Required): 1 to 2 years of hands-on software development experience hand-coding application logic using AI-assisted engineering tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, VS Code AI extensions) and/or programmatically building enterprise features integrated with AWS Bedrock and Anthropic Claude.
Technical Knowledge & Competencies - Deep understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), database principles, and unit testing methodologies.
- Strong grasp of Application Security best practices (OWASP Top 10).
- Proficiency in RESTful API architecture, Windows Communication Foundation (WCF), and complex XML Schema Definitions (XSD).
Technical & AI Tooling Skills - Core .NET Stack: Advanced proficiency with MS Visual Studio, .NET Core, .NET Framework, C#, ASP.NET, MVC pattern, Entity Framework, ADO.NET, and Dependency Injection.
- Database & Scripting: Strong skills in T-SQL programming, database design, and JavaScript.
- DevOps & Version Control: Experience using Azure DevOps and/or Team Foundation Server (TFS).
