Summary

Immediate need for a talented Financial Services Representative. This is a 06+ months contract with potential for project extension (and/or opportunity to convert to full time with client) opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Oshkosh, WI (Hybrid). Pay Range: $18- $19/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities :

  • Hours: 8 hrs. per day || 40 hrs. in a week\
  • HYBRID: 3 DAYS PER WEEK IN OFFICE REQUIRED (preferably Mon, Tues & Wed). There is always the flexibility if needed to switch days
  • Processes transactions, reconciles and maintains various accounts and ledgers.
  • Transactions processed and maintained may include accounts payable, journal vouchers, vendor invoices, expense reimbursements, ledgers, statements, billings, and/or other accounting documents.
  • Ensures accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of transactions processed.
  • Conducts research on discrepancies and makes appropriate corrections or adjustments.
  • Responds to and resolves inquiries. Posts data and/or checks and verifies data.
  • Runs and prepares routine financial reports and analyses.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

  • Must have skills: -Accounting
  • Reconciliation
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One or more years of relevant experience
  • Advanced knowledge of bookkeeping practices and principles.
  • Ability to identify and resolve exceptions and to interpret data.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages including Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience with reconciliation, Accounting, General Ledger, and Banking is a plus
  • 5 years or more experience is a plus.
