12 Month Contract
Position Overview:
The AI Solution Architect is responsible for designing and leading end-to-end AI solutions from concept through production. This role owns architectural decisions across model interaction patterns, platform selection, security and governance, and operational readiness. The architect partners closely with engineering, security, product, and business teams to deliver scalable, secure, and cost-effective AI systems that meet real-world performance and reliability requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Design end-to-end AI architectures, translating business requirements into production-ready technical solutions.
Define and apply AI solution patterns, including RAG architectures, agent-based systems, and inference pipelines.
Lead platform and tooling selection across models, frameworks, vector databases, orchestration layers, and infrastructure.
Architect integrations using APIs, identity, secrets management, and service-to-service authentication.
Embed security, privacy, and governance by design, including data protection, access control, auditability, and policy enforcement.
Evaluate and optimize scalability, resiliency, latency, and cost tradeoffs across AI workloads.
Design for operational readiness, including observability, monitoring, logging, incident response, and disaster recovery.
Produce clear technical architecture documentation, diagrams, and design standards.
Serve as a technical leader, guiding teams through design decisions and architectural best practices.
Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, security, data, and platform teams to ensure alignment and execution.
Required Qualifications
Strong experience in solution or systems architecture with hands-on delivery of complex platforms.
Demonstrated expertise in AI/ML system design, including RAG, agents, and model inference patterns.
Experience designing secure, scalable distributed systems.
Strong understanding of cloud platforms, APIs, identity, and integration patterns.
Proven ability to balance performance, reliability, and cost in production architectures.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence technical direction across teams.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with LLM platforms, vector databases, and AI orchestration frameworks.
Familiarity with AI security, privacy, and governance frameworks.
Experience designing systems with high availability and disaster recovery requirements.
Background in platform engineering, data engineering, or MLOps.
Prior technical leadership or architecture governance experience.
