Job Summary
Looking for an experienced EKS/Kubernetes Engineer to optimize memory usage and reduce DRAM waste across large-scale AWS environments. The role will focus on EKS cluster management, Kubernetes resource optimization, memory profiling, and production validation.
Must-Have Skills
Hands-on AWS EKS/Kubernetes experience
Strong experience managing EKS clusters, node groups, and autoscaling
Hands-on Kubernetes resource right-sizing and memory optimization
Experience with VPA, HPA, Cluster Autoscaler and/or Karpenter
Experience optimizing pod memory requests/limits and node utilization
Strong understanding of Linux memory, cgroups, OOM-Kill, and container memory
Hands-on experience with Prometheus, Grafana, kubectl top, and cAdvisor
Experience with memory profiling, resource utilization analysis, and identifying memory waste
Experience with node pool optimization, bin-packing, or capacity optimization
Experience with load/stress testing and production validation
Proficiency with Generative AI tools for engineering and troubleshooting
Preferred
CloudWatch Container Insights / X-Ray
Chaos engineering and canary deployments
CI/CD and infrastructure automation
AI agents or automated engineering workflows
The core focus is EKS + Kubernetes memory profiling + resource right-sizing + DRAM optimization
