A large enterprise organization in the energy industry is seeking a Senior Java Applications Administrator / SRE to join their team in Dallas. This position is responsible for maintaining and optimizing critical Java-based application environments while supporting cloud platforms, middleware technologies, automation initiatives, and enterprise security requirements. The environment includes Java application servers, IBM middleware, Azure cloud technologies, scheduling platforms, and AI-enabled integrations.

The team is looking for a senior-level engineer who can drive reliability, improve operational efficiency, implement automation, and help modernize enterprise application environments. Required Skills & Experience - 8-12+ years of IT experience supporting enterprise application environments.
- Experience administering Java-based applications in production environments.
- Strong experience with JBoss and Apache Tomcat.
- Hands-on experience administering IBM MQ and IBM Integration BBroker.
- Microsoft Azure administration experience.
- Microsoft Power Platform administration experience.
- Experience with UC4/Automic or similar enterprise scheduling tools.
- PowerShell, Python, and Unix/Linux scripting experience.
- Experience supporting Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions.
- Strong SQL skills with SQL Server and Oracle.
- Experience with application monitoring and observability tools.
- Experience developing or integrating AI-enabled applications.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work with technical and business stakeholders.
Desired Skills & Experience - Experience working in Site Reliability Engineering environments.
- Cloud architecture and platform optimization experience.
- Experience implementing SOX-compliant controls and processes.
