Summary

We are seeking Licensed Healthcare Professionals to support an exercise-based research study by conducting participant health screenings, monitoring exercise sessions, and ensuring participant safety throughout the study process. This role requires strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to respond effectively in a research environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct participant intake screenings and health assessments to determine eligibility for study participation.
  • Evaluate participant health status and ensure compliance with study requirements.
  • Monitor exercise sessions and observe participants for any signs of discomfort, injury, or medical concerns.
  • Provide preventative care, first response, and immediate medical assistance when necessary to ensure participant safety.
  • Maintain accurate health records and study-related documentation in accordance with established protocols.
  • Collaborate with site leadership and study teams regarding participant eligibility, health concerns, and safety-related matters.
  • Coordinate with local emergency services when required and assist in incident response procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with all healthcare, safety, privacy, and research-related regulations and standards.

Qualifications

  • Active and unrestricted healthcare license (RN, EMT, Paramedic, Athletic Trainer, Physical Therapist, or other applicable clinical credential).
  • Experience conducting patient assessments and monitoring participant health and safety.
  • Current CPR/BLS certification required; advanced certifications preferred.
  • Strong communication, documentation, and clinical decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a research or study-based environment.
