Software Developer (Remote)

Job Summary

This is 100% remote iwth occasional travel to Bengaluru, India office

The HPS Global team is looking for an experienced Advanced Software Developer with strong C# and.NET development skills and hands-on experience in Linux-based AWS environments. The role involves building, supporting, and maintaining enterprise applications used across global platforms, with exposure to cloud, databases, and web servers.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain applications using C#, .NET, PHP & Nodejs

Support applications running on Linux OS within AWS cloud

Use GitHub for source control, collaborating via pull requests, code reviews, and branch management to deliver high-quality changes safely

Build, deploy, and support applications in containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes fundamentals.

Work with SQL databases (MySQL preferred)

Manage and support applications hosted on Apache Tomcat

Troubleshoot production issues and perform performance tuning

Collaborate with global teams on enhancements and system improvements

Required Qualifications

7 10 years of experience in C# / .NET development

Proficiency with Git version control and GitHub for source code management

Experience working in Linux environments

Exposure to AWS cloud infrastructure

Experience with SQL databases (MySQL preferred)

Hands-on experience with Apache Tomcat

Containerization experience (Docker) and Kubernetes fundamentals .

Exposure to Amazon EKS, including deploying/troubleshooting applications in EKS or working knowledge of EKS-based environments.

Prior experience with monitoring/observability tools (preferably Nagios)

Strong problem-solving and debugging skil

Skills:

Preferred Qualifications

Exposure to Nagios monitoring

Working knowledge of Jira and/or ServiceNow

Experience supporting enterprise or business-critical applications
