Senior IT Project Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager in Chicago, IL.

Primary Responsibilities:
* Senior IT Project Manager will maintain organization's effectiveness and efficiency by defining, delivering, and supporting strategic plans for implementing information technologies
* Directs technological research by studying organization goals, strategies, practices, and user projects
* Completes projects by coordinating resources and timetables with user departments and data center
* Verifies application results by conducting system audits of technologies implemented
* Preserves assets by implementing disaster recovery and back-up procedures and information security and control structures
* As a Senior IT Project Manager, you will recommend information technology strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating organization outcomes; Identifying problems; Evaluating trends; Anticipating requirements
* Accomplishes financial objectives by forecasting requirements; Preparing an annual budget; Scheduling expenditures; Analyzing variances; Initiating corrective action
* Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards
* Maintains professional and technical knowledge by staying current on state-of-the-art practices
* Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

REQUIREMENTS:
* Degree in Computer Science, Business Management, Business Administration, or other related discipline
* Experience in the IT industry, including development work and customer interaction
* PMP Certification

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
