Location: Phoenix, AZ

Start Date: 04-28-2026

End Date: 07-28-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour night shifts (primary), 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM; must be available for 2-3 day shifts (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM) for orientation. No set schedules; includes weekends and holidays (must work 4 weekend shifts per schedule).

Requirements
  • Perform remote cardiac surveillance across multiple locations using centralized monitoring systems
  • Recognize, record and report dangerous rhythm changes and arrhythmias following established protocols
  • Notify local RN staff promptly and follow escalation and communication pathways for routine and emergency situations
  • Accurately document events and interventions in Cerner and other clinical systems
  • Operate and troubleshoot monitoring equipment (GE and Ascom) to ensure continuous patient monitoring
  • Contribute to patient outcome goals and department metrics by maintaining vigilance and quality standards
  • Participate in mandatory orientation and vendor-led in-person sessions to ensure competency
Qualifications
  • Graduation from an accredited program that includes EKG interpretation
  • BLS certification required and current
  • Must pass the Advanced Dysrhythmia exam prior to accepting the assignment (lethal rhythms are pass/fail with one attempt)
  • Minimum 2 years of recent related work experience required; 3 years preferred
  • Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and be available for required orientation day shifts
  • Willingness to follow strict facility policies (including no personal cell phones while on assignment)
  • Must not hold another concurrent assignment while working this role
