System Environment: Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) R12.2 HRMS/Payroll Modules

Key Responsibilities
Perform end-to-end payroll data conversion activities for Oracle EBS R12.2 HRMS/Payroll.
Extract, transform, and load (ETL) payroll and HR data from legacy systems into Oracle HRMS.
Develop and maintain conversion scripts using SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle APIs.
Create and validate FBDI/HDL (if applicable for integrations with Cloud systems).
Reconcile payroll results between legacy and Oracle HRMS to ensure data integrity.
Coordinate with functional and business teams to validate payroll conversion rules and mappings.
Troubleshoot, triage, and resolve conversion issues during testing cycles (SIT, UAT, Payroll Parallel Testing).
Support cutover and go-live activities, ensuring payroll data readiness.
Required Skills & Qualifications
5 10 years of technical experience in Oracle HRMS/Payroll with a focus on data conversion.
Strong expertise in Oracle R12.2 HRMS (Payroll, HR, Time & Labor).
Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle APIs, and Unix scripting.
Experience with data migration methodologies in defense or regulated environments.
Strong understanding of payroll structures, balances, and reconciliation.
Familiarity with payroll parallel runs and validation processes.
Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with functional and client teams.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience in defense sector projects or government programs.
Knowledge of DoD compliance and security standards.
Experience integrating Oracle Payroll with Time & Attendance or other HR systems.
