Job DetailsWhat You'll Do
- Lead the development, implementation, and ongoing improvement of the AS9100 quality management system.
- Plan and conduct internal and external audits to support AS9100, ISO 9001, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Partner with engineering and production teams to establish quality controls and resolve manufacturing issues.
- Lead root cause investigations and corrective actions for nonconforming products and audit findings.
- Analyze quality data to identify trends, reduce defects, and improve process performance.
- Apply Lean and Six Sigma principles to reduce waste and improve product quality.
- Train and mentor employees on quality procedures, compliance requirements, and continuous improvement practices.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quality Engineering, or a related field.
- 12+ years of experience in quality engineering leadership, preferably within aerospace manufacturing.
- At least 10 years of engineering leadership experience and 10 years of hands-on AS9100 experience.
- At least six years of quality auditing experience.
- Strong working knowledge of AS9100 and ISO 9001 requirements.
- Experience with GD&T, inspection methods, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and communicate effectively across the organization.
- Lean or Six Sigma certification preferred.
