Job Description

Client is seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Consultant with strong expertise in modern SAP development technologies, including OData, CDS Views, RAP, SAP Fiori, CAPM, and SAP BTP. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience developing enterprise SAP applications and implementing SAP's latest cloud-native development framework.

Required Skills

8+ years of SAP ABAP development experience.

Strong hands-on experience with SAP ABAP on HANA.

Expertise in OData Services (Gateway) development and integration.

Extensive experience creating and optimizing Core Data Services (CDS Views).

Hands-on experience with the RESTful ABAP Programming Model (RAP).

Experience developing applications using SAP Fiori and SAPUI5.

Strong knowledge of the Cloud Application Programming Model (CAPM).

Hands-on experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP).

Experience with SAP Build (Build Apps, Build Process Automation, or Build Work Zone).

Experience working with SAP Joule AI and AI capabilities within SAP BTP.

Knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, and integration services.

Experience with Eclipse ADT and SAP HANA development.

Familiarity with Git/version control and Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Roles & Responsibilities

Develop and enhance SAP applications using ABAP on HANA.

Design and develop CDS Views, OData Services, and RAP-based applications.

Build and customize SAP Fiori/UI5 applications.

Develop cloud-native applications using CAPM on SAP BTP.

Implement SAP Build solutions for application development and workflow automation.

Integrate AI capabilities using SAP Joule and SAP BTP AI services.

Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to gather requirements.

Optimize application performance and troubleshoot production issues.

Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and production support.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in the Banking or Financial Services domain is a plus.

SAP BTP and SAP Fiori certifications are preferred.

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
