Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Mainframe MQ Consultant to provide hands-on support and systems programming expertise across IBM zSeries environments. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with IBM MQ (Message Queuing) and IBM Integration Bus (IIB), supporting mission-critical enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities

Provide in-depth support on IBM zSeries (Mainframe) platforms
Perform systems programming for IBM Messaging Queuing (MQ) and IBM Integration Bus (IIB) in a z/OS environment
Design, integrate, and implement MQ and IIB solutions, including SYSPLEX configurations
Provide IBM MQ administration support for multiple enterprise applications
Monitor MQ environments, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability and performance
Work closely with application, infrastructure, and operations teams
Support upgrades, patches, and production stability initiatives

Required Qualifications

Strong hands-on experience with IBM Mainframe (zSeries) environments
In-depth knowledge of IBM MQ (Message Queuing) and IBM Integration Bus (IIB)
Experience with SYSPLEX technology
Proven experience performing MQ systems programming on z/OS
Experience supporting MQ for multiple applications in production environments
Strong troubleshooting and communication skills

Work Environment

100% Onsite – 5 Days per Week
Enterprise mainframe environment supporting critical systems
