Job DescriptionOracle's Data Center Centralized Functions Organization is seeking a Technical Program Manager with expertise in project control to join our growing team as we aim to enhance our project management capabilities. With the rapid expansion of Oracle's data center footprint, we are committed to improving our project tracking and control processes to ensure timely and efficient deliveries for our customers.
The Technical Program Manager will play a critical role in supporting the Data Hall Design TPM function, which is responsible for monitoring and managing various aspects of data center projects, including schedule, risk, and performance. This position requires a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with strong program management skills and experience in project control tools and methodologies.
Responsibilities: - Understand the design, build, commissioning & delivery of data center critical infrastructure & network capacity for Oracle Cloud.
- Develop, manage, review and research complex multi-faceted, larger scale construction project plans, and operational challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factors.
- Work with engineering teams to deliver the project and represent the Design team in cross-OCI meetings.
- Build trusted relationships with immediate team, external stakeholders, and vendors to influence decisions for the benefit of the business.
- Respond on an as-needed basis to data center build and construction related emergencies.
- Conduct weekly project meetings with core teams to provide feedback and assist in addressing concerns and removing roadblocks.
ResponsibilitiesRequirements: - 5+ years of experience in project controls or a similar Project Management field.
- Experience with Primavera (P6) or Oracle Primavera Cloud scheduling tools is desired.
- Familiarity with float management, critical path method (CPM), and sequencing logic.
- Strong communication skills: ability to synthesize complex schedule data into clear updates for internal and external stakeholders
- Strong understanding of project management principles, including cost, schedule, risk, and change management.
- Work closely with project managers and stakeholders to align project control efforts.
- Proficiency in creating and analyzing project budgets, schedules, and performance reports.
- Data analysis and reporting skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and communicate insights effectively.
- Experience in risk management and change control processes, with a structured and organized approach.
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Project Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with data centers, high-tech infrastructure, or mission-critical facilities strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to identify and implement process improvements that enhance the efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of project controls functions. Ideal candidates proactively analyze workflows, recommend refinements, and contribute to building a healthy, iterative project controls environment.
- PMP or other related certifications are a plus.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position.
