Title: Software Engineer III
Job Location: 465 Main Street, Buffalo, NY 14203. Position requires in-office work four (4) days every week.
Job Description: Serve as a key member of the implementation team for applications through the full project life cycle: planning, configuration, design, build, testing, training, go-live, and post-production support. Develop high-quality practices within the Oracle Cloud Financials environment. Play a key role as an experienced contributor on complex projects, offering high-level analytical consulting and leadership in identifying and implementing new technologies to assist Finance and other areas of the Bank in achieving short-term business goals and long-term strategic objectives. Prepare and manage the technical components of project plans. Collaborate with Development, Operations, and Technology staff to define overall systems development direction, from technical analysis to user acceptance testing. Prepare and review test data and execute detailed test plans. Complete any required debugging. Evaluate and understand complex interrelationships and effects among programs, interfacing applications, and platforms. Prepare thorough, clear technical and functional specifications and update systems documentation. Prepare charts, tables, and diagrams to assist in analyzing problems. Review documentation prepared by less experienced staff for completeness. Prepare and review assessments to include required tasks, estimated time frames, and effort for any scope project. Maintain the efficient operation and effectiveness of supported applications. Recommend new technology, policies, or processes to benefit the organization and improve deficiencies. Lead or participate in technical evaluations of vendor software. Maintain a high level of technical aptitude and expert working knowledge of the supporting application(s), development environments, and the supported client environment.
Minimum requirements: Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or as Software Programmer, Software Engineer, Senior Technical Lead or related occupation.
Position requires five (5) years of experience in each of the following:
- Configuring, implementing, troubleshooting, and providing support for Oracle Cloud Financials ERP and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
- Configuring the system to execute specific tasks and building processes in OIC to transfer data within the Oracle ecosystem.
Position requires two (2) years of experience in the following:
- Implementing system solutions using:
- Oracle Cloud Financials, including Fusion ERP experience in Payables, Fixed Assets, & General Ledger;
- Business Intelligence Publisher (BIP); and,
- Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI) Reports.
- Working in Agile development environment using JIRA tool.
Salary: $158,600.00 - 168,600.00 per year
