Job Description:
The AWS Solutions Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions using Amazon Web Services (AWS) for government clients. This role requires a deep understanding of AWS services, cloud architecture, and security protocols, along with the ability to work with classified information.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop cloud architectures that meet client requirements, including scalability, security, and performance.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure and services.
Stay updated with the latest AWS technologies and industry trends.
Responsible for designing, deploying, and managing AWS Workspaces solutions to deliver secure and scalable virtual desktops. MUST
Works closely with security, networking, and application teams to ensure performance, cost optimization, and compliance with enterprise standards. MUST
Required Experience & Qualifications
10 15+ years of IT experience, 6+ years in AWS architecture, 5+ years in DevOps.
Expertise in AWS compute, storage, networking, and security.
Strong experience with Kubernetes/EKS.
Strong scripting: Python, Shell, PowerShell.
Preferred Skills:
AWS Certified Solutions Architect certification. MUST TO HAVE
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Experience working with federal government clients.
Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
