Need - VMware Engineer (VKS & VMware Cloud Foundation) - Remote

Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) environments.
• Implement and administer VMware Kubernetes Service (VKS) clusters.
• Configure and manage vSphere, NSX-T, vSAN, and SDDC Manager.
• Perform lifecycle management (LCM) of VCF workload domains.
• Integrate VCF environments with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, Ansible, or PowerCLI.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize VMware infrastructure performance.
• Implement security best practices across compute, storage, and networking layers.
• Support containerized workloads and CI/CD integration.
• Collaborate with DevOps, Cloud Engineering, and Security teams.
• Provide technical documentation and architecture diagrams.
• Participate in on-call support and production incident management.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 10+ years of VMware infrastructure experience.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF).
• Strong experience with VMware Kubernetes Service (VKS) or Tanzu.
• Deep expertise in vSphere 7.x/8.x, NSX-T Data Center, and vSAN.
• Experience designing hybrid cloud architectures.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes architecture and container orchestration.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible).
• Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• VMware certifications (VCP-DCV, VCAP, VMware Cloud Foundation Specialist).
• Experience with Aria Operations (vRealize).
• CI/CD pipeline integration experience.
• Knowledge of Zero Trust networking concepts.
• Experience working in regulated industries (Healthcare, BFSI, Government).
