Salesforce Developer
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer with 10+ years of professional IT experience and at least 5 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Salesforce APEX, OOP, design patterns, SOQL, web development, and application integration.
The candidate should be self-directed, proactive, organized, and capable of driving work from requirements through implementation. This role requires strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and technical documentation skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, configure, and maintain Salesforce applications.
- Develop using Salesforce APEX, OOP, Lightning Pages, and Visualforce Pages.
- Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into effective Salesforce solutions.
- Drive development activities from requirements through implementation.
- Provide analysis and technical requirements for integrating applications.
- Work across all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Develop and maintain technical documentation.
- Apply object-oriented programming principles and software design patterns.
- Perform Salesforce configuration and development using SOQL and CRUD operations.
- Participate in end-to-end web application development.
- Collaborate with team members to plan and accomplish project goals.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to less experienced staff.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.
Required Skills & Experience
- 10+ years of professional IT experience.
- 5+ years of Salesforce development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce APEX.
- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
- Advanced knowledge of Salesforce development and design patterns.
- Experience with Lightning Pages and Visualforce Pages.
- Strong knowledge of SOQL and Salesforce CRUD operations.
- Experience with .NET OOP and SOA.
- Strong SQL skills.
- Experience with end-to-end web development.
- Experience with application integration and requirements analysis.
- Experience working throughout the SDLC.
- Strong abstract thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly organized, proactive, self-directed, and able to work independently.
- Ability to take ownership of assignments and drive work from requirements through implementation.
- Ability to mentor and provide guidance to less experienced team members.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with JavaScript frameworks.
- Experience working with complex enterprise application integrations.
- Experience creating and maintaining technical documentation.
Education
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
