Essential Skills: Windows VMware administrator is responsible for monitoring and managing systems that operate through VMware products and Service. VMware administrators ensure the security and stability of VMware networks by running technical control procedures to maintain quality standards. Administrator to virtualize Windows servers and connect them to networks and clouds. They design and implement VMware solutions troubleshoot VM environment problems and provide technical support.Building configuration patching upgrading and troubleshooting Windows Server 2012 2016 and 2019 on Physical and Virtual platforms Team-Player Accountable Positive Meets Deadlines Works Independently Escalates as appropriateAdministration and support for VMWare vSphere 6.7 and related technologies. Building configuring patching upgrading and troubleshooting of physical and virtual windows servers (rack mountsblades and VMs)Participate with PROJECT TEAMs in architecting solutions based on Dell HPE VMware Windows to meet specific project requirements. Includes interaction with Project Managers Application SMEs and Infrastructure SMEs from Network and Storage groups. Ensure day-to-day support and a high level of 24x7x365 service availability as well as participate in on-call support. - Respond to real-time performance alerts to resolve performance problems regular on-going performance analysis and capacity planning.PerformAssist with Backup Recovery processes and disaster recovery procedures to maintain data protection and availability.Independently perform complex troubleshooting root-cause analysis solution development and implementation. Apply Patches and Updates to system and software running on the VMware and Windows platforms. Perform Security updates to systems as directed. Experience with IvantiLANDesk and HPE Synergy a plus.Maintain physical and logical diagrams of hardware environment.Applicant must pass a security background check as prescribed by NERC Management of the Active Directory Domain like OU management user managementgroup policy management access management etc.b. Managing day to day operations with related active directoryAdministration of all domain controllers in the NiSource environment.
