Role Overview

Location: Des Moines, IA (Zip: 50309)
Work Arrangement: Onsite (4 days per week)
Work Hours: 8:00 AM 4:30 PM (Business Professional environment)

Key Responsibilities

System Documentation: Analyze and document legacy "home-grown" systems to prepare them for future modernization.
Requirements Management: Elicit requirements, write user stories, define acceptance criteria, and create design documents.
Stakeholder Liaison: Act as the bridge between business leadership, SMEs, and technical development teams.
Project Oversight: Manage workflows, prioritize changes, and occasionally perform PM or QA tasks for smaller efforts.
Agile Collaboration: Work within an Agile framework to deliver rapid, high-value outcomes.

Important Skills & Qualifications

Experience: 8+ years in Business Analysis for large-scale, complex IT systems.
Technical Tools: Proficiency in Azure DevOps, Jira, TFS, or RTC for requirement tracking.
Data Skills: 5+ years of working experience with SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) or relational databases.
Methodology: Strong mastery of SDLC and Agile delivery (6+ years).
Documentation: Expert-level process mapping, data gathering, and business case development (including cost-benefit and impact analysis).

Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to present to executive-level leadership
