ABOUT OUR CLIENT / ABOUT THIS ROLE
Medix is currently seeking a Clinical Systems Analyst / Systems Administrator who has in-depth experience implementing and supporting Symplr Credentialing Software - including MIDAS DataVision and Cactus. This is for a long-term contract opportunity with one of our healthcare clients - a large, non-for-profit health system encompassing hospitals all across the US.
This role will be joining a Specialty 3rd party Applications team to help support upgrades, standard workflows, break-fix, user generated tickets, and system patching for the primary Credentialing Software used through the enterprise hospital system - including, but not limited to Symplr's MIDAS DataVision and Cactus Credentialing.
The ideal candidate will have worked with Symplr products for a minimum of 3 years, and have a good blend of Project Management, Business Analysis and Clinical /IT Experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Providing ongoing support and administration for Symplr Credentialing Software used across an enterprise health system,
- Supporting automated workflows, system integrations, and compliance governance for Symply MIDAS and Cactus Credentialing suites, to ensure healthcare providers and vendors are qualified and authorized.
- Supporting Symplr user & access management. Configuring role-based access for credentialing staff, committee members, and external providers, setting up automated routing, e-signature capabilities, and self-service portals.
- Providing database & workflow configuration. Mapping custom facility-specific policies, privilege criteria, and payer enrollment requirements, ensuring applications and workflows align with accrediting bodies (The Joint Commission, NCQA).
- Conducting primary source verification. Managing APIs and automated web-crawler integrations that query databases like the NPDB, OIG, and SAM.
- Overseeing automated license monitoring, DEA/CSR registrations, and board certifications
- Assisting with data & system interoperability: connecting MIDAS/Cactus with hospital HR, payroll, and EHR systems, as well as payer networks for provider enrollment.
- Assisting with reporting & analytics: generating compliance reports, tracking onboarding metrics, and running quality assurance audits.
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience supporting Credentialing Software.
- Must have experience working in a Hospital or Health System
- Must have hands-on experience with Symplr products like MIDAS DataVision, Cactus Credentialing
