Job Overview
TechAGI Solutions is seeking an experienced Senior/Mid-Level Java Full Stack Developer to support the development and maintenance of enterprise web applications. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Core Java, JavaServer Faces (JSF), Spring Boot, Angular, databases, and backend integrations.
This is a Day 1 onsite position in Omaha, Nebraska. Candidates must be willing to relocate and work from the client location.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise applications using Java 8/17, JSF, Spring Boot, and Angular.
- Build reusable user-interface components using JSF libraries such as PrimeFaces, RichFaces, ADF Faces, or ICEfaces.
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs, web services, backend services, and messaging solutions.
- Work with Oracle and other relational databases to develop queries and resolve application issues.
- Collaborate with developers, testers, business analysts, and other cross-functional teams.
- Participate in Agile activities, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and development best practices.
- Troubleshoot, debug, upgrade, and optimize existing applications.
- Improve application performance, scalability, security, and maintainability.
- Write clean, reusable, well-documented, and testable code.
- Support application testing, deployment, and production-related issues.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 8–10 years of experience in Java enterprise application development.
- Strong knowledge of Core Java, J2EE, and Java 8 or later.
- Hands-on experience with JavaServer Faces (JSF).
- Experience with JSF component libraries such as PrimeFaces, RichFaces, ADF Faces, or ICEfaces.
- Strong experience with Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
- Hands-on experience with Angular, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Good understanding of MVC architecture.
- Experience with Hibernate/JPA and object-relational mapping.
- Experience developing and integrating RESTful web services.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with Oracle or other relational databases.
- Experience with application servers such as Tomcat, WildFly, or WebLogic.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an Agile team.
- Willingness to relocate to Omaha, Nebraska, and work onsite from Day 1.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with JMS, Apache Camel, Log4j, and Elastic Search/Open Search.
- Experience with microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI.
- Experience with Git or another version-control system.
- Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Familiarity with OAuth, JWT, and application-security standards.
- Exposure to React is an added advantage.
- Experience with code-quality tools and automated testing practices.
