We are a rapidly growing fintech startup, looking for a passionate and experienced Engineering Lead. As the lead, you will be responsible for assisting in driving the company's technology strategy, scaling a product and creating an environment where technological innovation thrives. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact in a fast-paced, innovative environment, working at the intersection of technology and finance.
Responsibilities:
1. Assist with the company's technology strategy, aligning it with our business objectives and ensuring we stay on the cutting edge of fintech innovation.
2. Oversee the development of our mobile and web applications, ensuring they deliver an exceptional user experience and meet our high standards of quality and performance.
3. Drive the continuous improvement of our engineering processes and practices, leveraging the latest tools and technologies to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree is a plus.
2. Minimum of 2 years of engineering role, preferably in the fintech or tech services industry.
3. Experience with React, Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, Heroku application hosting, Taildwind CSS and Redux and other relevant technologies.
4. Deep understanding of the fintech industry, including familiarity with relevant compliance and regulatory issues.
5. Exceptional problem-solving skills, with a track record of driving technological innovation and excellence.
6. Passion for staying on the cutting edge of technology, with a keen interest in the latest trends and developments in the fintech industry.
