Technical Data PM need:

Technical Data Project Manager (experience managing data projects as the primary responsibility)

Data Lakes (knows what "done" looks like)

Data Lakehouse

Data Bricks

Mainframe

Experience managing the creation of Virtual ODS(Operational Data Store) in Data Lakehouse

No Agile Methodology (just need someone that can run a highly structured project)

General Data Governance Understanding

Status Reporting(good or bad)(using visio/power point) to CIO, project sponsors, etc…make recommendations and also take feedback back to team(good or bad)

Run metric based project reporting with project schedule(create, maintain and update)

Report a percentage to done

 

Tools

MS Project (track milestones, tasks, priorities, etc,)

JIRA (for daily stand ups)

Visio (for sponsor presentations)

Power Point (for sponsor presentations)

Mandatory Quals: 

1.

Seven (7) years of broad, extensive, and increasingly responsible PM project experience applying project management (PM) principles, methods, techniques, and tools. At least four (4) years of that experience must have been as a Senior PM of one or more *large or complex IT projects.

2.

Possession of bachelor’s degree. (Additional four (4) years of qualifying experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.)

Eleven (11) years, if substituting bachelor's degree for additional qualifying experience.

3.

Possession of a valid Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI). The PMP certification is required and may not be substituted with additional experience.

4.

A minimum of five (5) years of experience providing diverse technical and management services to government agencies.

5.

A minimum of five (5) year’s team building, knowledge transfer, and/or mentoring experience.

6.

A minimum of five (5) years of experience leading and facilitating team meetings.

7.

A minimum of three (3) years of experience in transition support including providing leadership in the transition of work from the Contractor to State staff and assisting with the transition of the existing PM infrastructure to the maintenance and operations (M&O) infrastructure.

8.

A minimum of two (2) years of risk management experience.

9.

A minimum of two (2) years of business process review and gap analysis experience.
