Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Oracle E-Business Suite Finance Consultant with strong expertise in the Oracle Projects (PA) module. The consultant will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting Oracle Projects to manage project costing, billing, revenue recognition, and financial reporting. The role requires close collaboration with Finance, Project Management, and IT teams to ensure accurate project financial control and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement, configure, and support Oracle Projects (PA) modules, including:
  • Project Costing
  • Project Billing
  • Project Accounting
  • Revenue Recognition
• Integrate Oracle Projects with GL, AP, AR, FA, and CM modules.
• Configure project structures, task hierarchies, expenditure types, and cost rates.
• Manage burdening, cost allocation, and capitalization processes.
• Support contract billing, event-based billing, and revenue accruals.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP / IFRS and organizational financial policies.
• Perform functional setups, testing, UAT support, and production support.
• Prepare functional specifications and support custom reports, interfaces, and extensions (RICEW).
• Troubleshoot project accounting and billing issues.
• Support the month-end and year-end close related to project accounting.
• Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and deliver solutions.

Required Skills & Experience

• 6+ years of experience as an Oracle EBS Finance Functional Consultant.
• Strong hands-on experience with the Oracle Projects (PA) module.
• Solid understanding of project costing, billing, and revenue recognition.
• Experience integrating Projects with GL, AP, AR, and FA.
• Experience with R12 implementation, upgrade, or support projects.
• Knowledge of project-based accounting in IT, Engineering, Construction, or Professional Services industries.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
