We are seeking an experienced Senior CAD / BIM Specialist to support a large-scale facilities and real estate project. This role will focus on creating, updating, validating, and maintaining as-built drawings while supporting Building Information Modeling (BIM) initiatives for operational facilities and infrastructure environments.

This is an excellent opportunity for a CAD/BIM professional with strong hands-on experience in AutoCAD, Revit, facility drawings, and real-world as-built documentation.

Position Details

Location: Remote (Candidates from DC Metro area could be hybrid)

Job Title: Senior CAD / BIM Specialist

Tools: AutoCAD, Autodesk tools, Revit/BIM preferred

Contract Length: 6 Months+ extensions

Pay Rate: $60/hour

Key Responsibilities

Develop, update, and maintain as-built drawings for facilities and infrastructure

Review and interpret blueprints, floorplans, and engineering drawings

Work extensively with AutoCAD and Autodesk tools

Support BIM workflows and documentation standards

Ensure accuracy and consistency of facility documentation

Collaborate with engineering, facilities, and project teams

Validate and update drawings based on real-world site conditions

Required Skills & Experience

Strong hands-on experience with AutoCAD

Experience with Revit / BIM modeling highly preferred

Proven experience creating and updating as-built drawings

Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings

Experience with facility layouts, buildings, or infrastructure environments

Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy

Preferred Experience

Transportation, rail, facilities management, or large infrastructure projects

Exposure to BIM standards and workflows

Real estate, station, facility, or infrastructure documentation

Ideal Candidate Background

CAD Drafter / Designer with facilities or architectural experience

BIM Specialist with hands-on Revit and AutoCAD experience

Professional experienced in real-world infrastructure or building environments
