Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced AWS Infrastructure Architect to lead cloud infrastructure architecture for a large-scale data center exit and cloud migration initiative.
The role will focus on secure and scalable AWS infrastructure, enterprise cloud governance, hybrid connectivity, migration readiness, infrastructure automation, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
AWS Architecture & Governance
- Design AWS Landing Zones with multi-account structures, organizational policies, SCPs, IAM guardrails, and governance controls.
- Establish secure and scalable AWS architecture standards.
- Define cloud security, identity, encryption, monitoring, and compliance strategies.
Networking & Hybrid Connectivity
- Architect VPCs, subnetting, routing, and network segmentation.
- Design and implement Transit Gateway architectures.
- Architect Direct Connect, VPN, and hybrid connectivity solutions.
- Ensure reliable connectivity between cloud, data center, application, and database environments.
Compute & Migration
- Lead EC2 migration architecture, including right-sizing, high availability, AMI management, and patching strategies.
- Support cloud migration using AWS services and migration methodologies.
- Identify infrastructure dependencies, cloud readiness blockers, performance gaps, and migration risks.
- Support migration waves by validating infrastructure readiness and resolving technical issues.
EKS Architecture
- Provide architecture guidance for Amazon EKS environments.
- Design cluster networking, CNI configuration, node groups, scaling, ingress, and workload placement.
- Support enterprise containerized workload deployments.
Infrastructure Automation
- Develop Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and CloudFormation.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Ansible.
- Establish repeatable and standardized cloud deployment practices.
Observability & Operations
- Implement monitoring and observability using:
- Amazon CloudWatch
- AWS CloudTrail
- AWS X-Ray
- Centralized logging platforms
- Develop operational standards and runbooks.
- Support troubleshooting, performance optimization, and production readiness.
Required Qualifications
- 10–12 years of experience in infrastructure, cloud, or solution architecture.
- Strong enterprise AWS infrastructure architecture experience.
- Hands-on experience designing multi-account AWS Landing Zones.
- Deep knowledge of EC2, VPC, Transit Gateway, Route 53, ALB/NLB, EBS, EFS, FSx, and S3.
- Strong knowledge of IAM, KMS, Secrets Manager, SCPs, GuardDuty, Config, and CloudTrail.
- Experience with AWS migration services such as MGN, DMS, and SCT.
- Strong AWS networking experience, including Direct Connect, VPN, routing, and hybrid connectivity.
- Experience architecting Amazon EKS environments.
- Proficiency with Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible.
- Understanding of Windows Server 2016–2025 and RHEL 7–9 infrastructure dependencies.
- Strong experience identifying migration risks, infrastructure dependencies, and cloud readiness challenges.
- Excellent architecture, documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
