DescriptionMarkon is seeking a Systems Engineer to support an IC customer with the entire Systems Engineering life cycle. We are seeking a forward-learning self-starter capable of balancing multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast paced environment. You will be expected to support multiple efforts and will assist the customer in making informed decisions related to requirements and developments.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with customer and stakeholders to understand mission needs then develop Concept of Operations documents.
- Capture and document User, Functional, and Technical requirements.
- Perform analysis and allocation of requirements to systems and segments.
- Provide project management support, development of project plans, integration and test support and initial solution definition.
- Drive projects to completion.
- Plan and participate in characterization testing of RF systems.
- Coordinate and participate in technical exchange meetings (TEMS).
- Identify technical, CI and operational risks and recommend mitigations.
- Creating briefings to support Control Gates.
Qualifications- Minimum of 12 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 10 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 7 years with Ph.D.; an additional four years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Systems Engineer providing the above services
- Strong written, communications and interpersonal skills with the ability to prepare and brief complex technical and non-technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Have demonstrated experience with RF communication systems, technologies, and concepts
- Be a self-starter who will take initiative for helping manage key parts of complex technical developments.
- Possess a desire and ability to work on multiple fast-paced projects and be willing and able to aggressively learn the activities and focus of the organization.
- Must be comfortable working in a dynamic team environment.
Salary RangeUSD $160,000.00 - USD $190,000.00 /Yr.
