Quality Assurance Lead

Overview: This role supports a fast-paced agile team responsible for building and enhancing client-facing systems within institutional asset management. The position focuses heavily on quality assurance, automation, and collaboration to ensure system reliability, performance, and functionality. The ideal candidate will bring strong testing expertise, hands-on technical ability, and experience contributing to high-quality software delivery.

• Partner with QA Analysts and Developers to ensure full testing coverage, system reliability, performance, and overall quality.
• Participate in SDLC and PMLC processes, including scope assessment, risk analysis, and cost evaluation.
• Lead, coach, and mentor team members as needed.
• Oversee testing activities for ongoing projects and upcoming initiatives.
• Develop testing strategies, plans, and timelines aligned with project milestones and quality standards.
• Review and approve test plans, test cases, scripts, and procedures—including database impacts, software scenarios, and usability considerations.
• Validate software documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
• Ensure all application documentation is maintained and updated.

• Documentation and workflow tools (e.g., Jira)
• Test automation
• QFaaS experience
• Java and C# knowledge
• Ability to write simple SQL queries (joins, table lookups, data validation)
• Strong understanding of testing disciplines and QA methodologies

• Experience in an Agile environment (stand?ups, retros, ceremonies)
• Functional and automation testing experience
• API validation and web application testing
• Experience leading QA projects or programs

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent work experience
