Powerbuilder Developer

Role Overview

The client is seeking a Senior PowerBuilder Developer to support the maintenance and enhancement of legacy enterprise applications and develop system integrations during a modernization initiative. The role involves PowerBuilder development, database integration, REST API development, FileNet integration, and collaboration within an Agile environment. The job is open to candidates within the 100 miles radius of Richmond, VA.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance PowerBuilder applications using PowerBuilder 12.5 or higher
• Support legacy system analysis, maintenance, and modernization efforts
• Design and implement integrations with REST APIs and FileNet applications
• Develop and maintain database-driven applications using relational databases
• Participate in design reviews, architecture discussions, and requirements analysis sessions
• Collaborate with business analysts, technical teams, and stakeholders to deliver solutions
• Track development activities using Azure DevOps and Agile methodologies
• Write clear, maintainable, and scalable code following development best practices
• Work independently and within cross-functional Agile teams to deliver project objectives
