JOB SUMMARY
Vaco is currently seeking an IT Service Continuity Analyst for a 3M Contract opportunity that is 100% remote. The IT Service Continuity Analyst will serve as a key coordinator and operational supporter within the IT Service Continuity and Business Continuity Management program. The IT Service Continuity Analyst will keep the program organized, compliant, and ready by managing documentation, tracking metrics and risks, and preparing materials for governance reviews, audits, and regulatory requests. The IT Service Continuity Analyst will act as a central point of coordination by maintaining work items in Agile tools, supporting the BCM planning platform, and helping gather and document critical information for Business Impact Analysis and risk assessments from across business and IT teams, including recovery objectives, interdependencies, and key risks. The IT Service Continuity Analyst will assist IT teams with building and updating their continuity and recovery plans, delivering training and awareness sessions, coordinating recovery exercises and tests, and capturing lessons learned with follow-up actions. Additionally, during actual incidents, the IT Service Continuity Analyst will be on call to provide documentation support and hands-on assistance under the direction of the program lead.

• BCM Tool Administration / User Support – Supporting BCM Planning Platforms via User Access Assistance / Second-Level End-User Support / Workflow Record Creation and Maintenance
• Business Impact Analysis (BIA) / Risk Assessment Support – Facilitating Collection / Documentation of Critical Inputs (RTO / RPO / Criticality / Interdependencies / Impact / Likelihood / Mitigating Controls) | Supporting Continuity and Risk Programs
• Continuity / Recovery Planning – Supporting IT Teams in Development / Maintenance of Continuity / Recovery Plans | Ensuring Documentation Accuracy / Standards Alignment / Cross-Functional Coordination
• Training / Awareness Coordination – Supporting Training Initiatives via Logistics Coordination / Material Preparation / Process Education Across Assess / Plan / Exercise / Respond Activities
• Recovery Testing / Exercise Coordination – Coordinating Recovery Exercises / Tests (Scheduling / Documentation / Observation Tracking / Corrective Action Management / Improvement Identification)
• Recovery Operations Support – Supporting Recovery Response Efforts via Operational Assistance / Documentation / Incident Readiness Under Program Leadership Direction

 
JOB REQUIREMENTS

• IT Service Continuity / Business Continuity Experience – Supporting IT Service Continuity / Business Continuity / Disaster Recovery / Resiliency Programs Within Enterprise Environments
• Business Impact Analysis / Risk Assessment (knowledge) – Understanding Recovery Objectives (RTO / RPO) / Critical Dependencies / Risk Assessment Methodologies / Continuity Planning Concepts
• Agile / Program Coordination – Tracking Work Items / Priorities / Dependencies in Agile and/or Project Delivery Environments
• Audit / Compliance Support – Supporting Audit / Regulatory / Governance Activities via Documentation Management / Evidence Collection / Reporting Preparation
• Documentation / Organizational – Strong Documentation / Process Coordination / Organizational Capabilities with High Attention to Detail
• Cross-Functional Communication – Ability to Collaborate Across Business Teams / IT Teams / Risk / Compliance Stakeholders in Enterprise Environments
• MS Office / Enterprise Tools (proficiency) – MS Office Applications and Enterprise Collaboration / Workflow Platforms

 
PREFERRED (not required)

• Certifications – Business Continuity / Disaster Recovery / Risk Management / Project Coordination Certifications Preferred but Not Required (CBCP / ISO 22301 / ITIL / PMP / Agile Certifications)
• Exposure to BCM / Disaster Recovery Platforms / Continuity Planning Tools / ITIL / Agile Methodologies
