Kentro is hiring for Journeyman Technical Project Manager to support USSOCOM/USASOC - EDAT. Kentro will provide the Government with program management and services related to emerging technology solutions including Enterprise Architecture (EA) and data science, application development and management support, training, and enterprise ecosystem support.

Location: Hybrid in Tampa or Fayetteville, NC

Responsibilities

  • Manages and oversees all aspects of assigned projects (new TDL/TDPs), to ensure projects are completed on-time and within budget.
  • Has overall responsibility for managing scope, cost, schedule, internal staffing, vendors, and contractual deliverables.
  • Develops detailed project plans. Monitors project milestones and generate periodic status reports.
  • Evaluates and manages risk. Incorporates quality measures and standards to project deliverables.
  • Ensures each project is closed out in accordance with the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) and provide transition support following the completion of each project. Ensures all software and application development is supported by appropriate documentation.
  • Provides project management support to teams performing application development, legacy application migration to containerized applications, data solution development, solutioning and innovation teams, security development and implementation teams, or data warehouse/database development teams.
  • Ensure customer success in their use of Palantir platforms, to include engineering, data structure, and training.


Qualifications

  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, IT, or related field
    • OR Associates Degree plus 4 years of relevant work experience
    • OR 6+ years of relevant work experience
  • Experience:
    • 3+ years of project management experience
    • Federal contracting or DoD experience highly preferred.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
    • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
    • Ability to work with Teams, but self-motivated to complete projects on your own.
    • Ability to work fully on-site with minimal accommodation
    • Experience with Agile methodologies.
    • Background working with cross-functional technical teams.
    • Familiarity with government contracting processes, task orders, and deliverables.
    • Familiarity with Palantir products

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PMP, PMI-ACP, or equivalent certification strongly preferred.

Clearance Requirement:

  • Must have at a minimum active Secret to be considered for this role.
