Job Title: Senior Oracle Developer
Location: Charlotte, NC (Local’s)
Job Description
We are seeking an Oracle Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Oracle database development, advanced PL/SQL, and performance tuning, and a proven ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable, secure technical solutions.
Responsibilities:
· Design, develop, test, and maintain Oracle database objects, including PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and triggers.
· Build and optimize tables, views, indexes, and materialized views with a focus on performance and scalability.
· Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical designs and implementation plans.
· Perform root-cause analysis and resolve production issues for large-scale enterprise applications.
· Create technical design documents, data flow diagrams, and deployment plans with thorough documentation.
· Support application releases, code promotions, and change management activities in compliance with governance standards.
· Ensure adherence to security, audit, and data governance requirements across solutions.
· Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, facilitating requirement sessions and design reviews.
· Communicate status, risks, and dependencies to management and project teams.
· Collaborate with QA, developers, business analysts, and project managers to deliver on schedule.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
· Oracle Database 12c/19c or later, with advanced PL/SQL development expertise.
· SQL performance tuning, query optimization, and troubleshooting.
· Data modeling and relational database design principles.
· Version control with Git or Bitbucket in team-based workflows.
· Experience supporting large-scale enterprise applications in production environments.
· Excellent verbal and written communication with strong documentation skills.
Preferred Skills:
· Experience leading technical discussions and working sessions with stakeholders.
· Strong presentation and stakeholder-management capabilities with senior management and business users.
· Ability to manage multiple priorities under deadlines with a proactive, organized approach.
