Senior Full-Stack .NET Developer – Accessibility & AI Modernization
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Full-Stack .NET Developer with strong expertise in C#, .NET/.NET Core, JavaScript, Telerik UI, HTML5, and CSS3, along with hands-on experience in web accessibility, accessible PDF development, and modern DevOps practices.
The candidate will be responsible for modernizing legacy enterprise applications, remediating front-end accessibility issues, and transforming Crystal Reports-generated PDF reports into ADA-compliant and accessible PDF documents. The role requires strong knowledge of WCAG 2.1/2.2, Section 508, PDF accessibility standards, and accessibility testing tools such as NVDA and WAVE.
The ideal candidate will also leverage enterprise AI development tools such as GitHub Enterprise Cloud (GHEC) Copilot and Anthropic Claude to improve code analysis, accessibility remediation, refactoring, documentation, and automated test development.
Key Responsibilities
- Full-Stack .NET Development & Modernization
- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise applications using C#, .NET, .NET Core, ASP.NET, Telerik UI, HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript.
- Modernize legacy application components while maintaining functionality, performance, security, and scalability.
- Perform code reviews, refactoring, debugging, and technical remediation across complex .NET applications.
- Web Accessibility & ADA/WCAG Compliance
- Conduct comprehensive accessibility audits of enterprise web applications and front-end interfaces.
- Identify and remediate accessibility issues related to keyboard navigation, focus management, semantic HTML, ARIA, forms, controls, color contrast, screen-reader compatibility, and responsive design.
- Ensure applications comply with WCAG 2.1/2.2 Level AA and Section 508 requirements.
- Utilize accessibility testing tools such as NVDA, WAVE, browser accessibility tools, and AI-assisted scanning solutions.
- Accessible PDF Development & Remediation
- Analyze and modernize legacy Crystal Reports-based PDF reporting solutions.
- Convert existing reports into ADA-compliant and accessible/tagged PDFs.
- Implement proper PDF tagging, reading order, document structure, headings, tables, metadata, alternative text, and navigation elements.
- Develop dynamic PDF reporting capabilities integrated into .NET applications and workflows.
- Perform accessibility validation and remediation of generated PDF documents.
- AI-Assisted Software Engineering
- Leverage GitHub Enterprise Cloud Copilot and Anthropic Claude to accelerate code analysis, refactoring, documentation, accessibility remediation, and test generation.
- Use AI-assisted development responsibly while validating generated code for security, accessibility, performance, and maintainability.
- Identify opportunities to incorporate AI into software development and application modernization workflows.
- DevOps & Application Delivery
- Work with modern CI/CD pipelines, source control, automated testing, and deployment processes.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate accessibility checks and automated quality validations into development pipelines.
- Support application releases, production troubleshooting, defect resolution, and continuous improvement.
Required Technical Skills
- Strong experience with C# and .NET/.NET Core
- ASP.NET / enterprise web application development
