JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking an experienced Architect with strong expertise in data and reporting to support a carve-out initiative within the M&A group. The ideal candidate will coordinate across multiple teams and ensure seamless replication and continuity of reporting capabilities for business stakeholders as systems migrate to new environments.

The Architect will be responsible for ensuring that all existing reporting from the legacy environment remains fully accessible and functional for business users post-migration.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead coordination across cross-functional teams to support reporting continuity during the carve-out process.

• Ensure all business-critical reporting is successfully replicated and validated in the new environment.

• Oversee end-to-end solution planning and design related to data architecture, ETL processes, security, and data access.

• Manage and validate data ingestion processes, including both synchronous and asynchronous real-time ingestion methods.

• Ensure implementation of data security controls, including encryption for data at rest and data in transit.

• Maintain strong oversight of data governance, data protection, and DLP compliance.

• Identify and manage dependencies to prevent disruptions to client reporting systems during transition.

• Collaborate closely with data and reporting teams to guarantee uninterrupted access to required reports for customers after the carve-out.

• Lead and coordinate multiple vendors responsible for various technical dependencies within the program.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience in DataStage and ETL processes

• Deep understanding of data architecture and reporting frameworks

• Experience in M&A, carve-outs, or large-scale migration programs preferred

• Expertise in data security, governance, and compliance

• Proven leadership experience managing cross-functional and vendor teams
