Business Analyst

Introduction

We’re looking for a driven, detail-oriented Entry-Level Business Analyst who’s excited to work at the intersection of technology, data, process improvement, and customer service. This role is ideal for someone who loves problem-solving, translating business needs into clear technical requirements, using data to uncover insights, and collaborating across different functions. You’ll support software development initiatives, partner closely with cross-functional teams, and help design solutions that improve productivity, efficiency, and user experience.

Responsibilities

Requirements & Technical Analysis

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and refine business and technical requirements
• Translate business needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows
• Support software development teams by clarifying requirements and validating functionality
• Assist in creating mockups and prototypes using tools like Figma

Testing & Quality Support

• Participate in test planning, test case creation, execution, and monitoring
• Support automated testing efforts using modern test tools (experience a plus, willingness to learn required)
• Validate system changes, identify defects, and ensure high-quality releases

Data & Analytical Work

• Design, build, and maintain program metrics to track progress and outcomes
• Perform data entry, validate data quality, and follow up with stakeholders when updates are due
• Monitor metric trends and prepare clear summaries or presentations
• Analyze data to identify issues, trends, and improvement opportunities
• Build simple dashboards, reports, and visualizations to support decision-making

Requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to communicate technical concepts for non-technical audiences
• High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Self-starter with strong initiative, curiosity, and follow-through
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Familiarity with Microsoft technologies (Excel, Power BI, SharePoint, Azure DevOps, etc.)
• Basic understanding of software development lifecycles (Agile/Scrum preferred)
• Comfort with creating process flows, diagrams, and structured documentation

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with Figma or similar design/prototyping tools
• Exposure to automated testing tools (e.g., Playwright, Selenium)
• Intermediate understanding of AI tools, prompt engineering, or AI-assisted workflows
• Basic SQL or data visualization/analysis experience
• Interest in leveraging technology to improve productivity and streamline operations
