  • Lead architecture reviews for production systems, interfaces, and network considerations; document decisions and ensure scalability and resilience.
  • Manage DR/BCP for SAP: maintain plans, run periodic tests, and coordinate activation in emergencies with data center and infrastructure teams.
  • Drive automation & innovation in operations (e.g., monitoring, provisioning, role management, and routine administrative tasks) in partnership with automation teams.

  • Depth in system integration across SAP and non?SAP solutions (IDoc/RFC/OData/APIs), plus middleware experience (e.g., SAP CPI/PO or equivalent).
  • Strong security background: SAP GRC role design & analysis, gateway/message server hardening, OSS security notes, encryption/SSO, and SOX/compliance frameworks.
  • Proven capability in performance tuning, capacity planning, system copies/refreshes, upgrades/patching, and monitoring/observability.
  • Experience with DR/HA planning and execution (e.g., clustering, replication strategies) and coordinating tests with infrastructure teams.
  • Familiarity with databases and OS commonly used in SAP environments (e.g., HANA/Oracle/MS SQL; Linux/UNIX/Windows) and core networking concepts.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Visio, PowerPoint; ability to document architectures, runbooks, and KPIs clearly and succinctly.
  • Soft skills: excellent communication, stakeholder management, analytical problem?solving, adaptability, and the ability to drive outcomes in complex, global settings.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule (including occasional nights/weekends/holidays for releases or incidents); domestic and international travel as needed; valid driver’s license required.

Why This Role Matters
