Graphic/Color Designer (Hybrid)

Location: Beaverton, OregonSchedule: Monday - Thursday onsite, Friday remoteDuration: ~ 6-month contract, potential to extendFull-time or Part-time: Full-timeCompensation Range: $35.00 - $46.00/hr W2As a Color Designer, you will drive the creation of compelling new color theories specifically for seasonal basketball footwear. Joining a high-energy footwear expression team, you will report to the VP of Basketball and collaborate closely with a cross-functional group of approximately ten people. This is a lead-level role that requires a designer capable of not only executing vision but also presenting sophisticated designs and concepts to internal senior leadership and external partners, including world-class athletes and collaborators.Responsibilities:Develop and implement seasonal color directions that push the boundaries of basketball footwear.Translate consumer insights and trends into visual stories that resonate with the sports community.Collaborate across design, product, and merchandising teams to ensure a cohesive brand narrative.Prepare and deliver high-stakes presentations to internal stakeholders and external high-profile partners.Qualifications:On-site role at WHQ; typical work hours, 4/1 hybrid model.Project support; contract is expected to last ~6 mos; possibility for extension, not guaranteed.Degree preferred.3-5 years' minimum experience required in a similar role.Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years in a color design or similar graphic design role.Technical Mastery: Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Illustrator. Strong skills in Photoshop, Miro, CLO 3D, and Vizcom are required.Textile Knowledge: A strong foundational understanding of textiles and how color interacts with different materials.Soft Skills: You excel under tight deadlines, remain versatile in a fast-paced environment, and possess a genuine passion for sports.Preferred Assets: Experience in both footwear and apparel design and a proven track record of presenting to senior leadership.
