Data Analyst

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Data Analyst in Jacksonville, FL.

Essential Functions:
* Delivers analytical support to Loan Officers by performing financial evaluations and preparing the documentation necessary for underwriting decisions; Also provides guidance and oversight to Credit Analysts
* Conducts financial assessments across key accounts in the existing portfolio as well as reviews new submissions for larger retail and community clients
* Supplies all critical information required for lending decisions, including the review of financial statements, credit histories, account performance, collateral assessments, and relevant industry benchmarks specific to each credit request

Credit Underwriting:
* Collects all required documentation and supplemental materials to evaluate and process new loan requests, existing account updates, and annual renewals
* Interprets and analyzes business financials, tax returns, and additional supporting documents to craft informed credit recommendations
* Collaborates closely with the Credit Manager, Account Manager, VP, and Chief Credit Officer within the Commercial Credit team

Documentation:
* Prepares and finalizes legal documentation for authorized Retailer Credit Lines
* Ensures all approval conditions from the Retailer are received and properly completed

* Provides detailed analytical support to Loan Officers by reviewing financial data and assembling the materials required to support underwriting decisions, while also offering direction and support to Credit Analysts
* Performs in-depth financial evaluations for major accounts within the existing portfolio and assesses new credit requests from larger retail and community partners
* Delivers all essential inputs for lending decisions, including analysis of financial statements, credit histories, account performance trends, collateral reviews, and industry-specific comparisons relevant to each credit file

REQUIREMENTS:
* To be considered for this position, candidates must have experience in a similar role, or they must possess significant knowledge, experience, and abilities to successfully perform the responsibilities listed
* Relevant education and/or training will be considered a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
