Summary

Job Role : Mainframe Production Support Lead

Location : Remote (Can work remote but they should be in Dallas area for client visit- if required.)

Duration: 6 months with possible extension

Description:

Production support lead role with 10+ years of experience in L2/L3 mainframe production support for critical applications in a 24x7, SLA‑driven environment.

Required skills:

· z/VSE and z/OS, Assembler, Easytrieve, COBOL, CICS, JCL, VSAM

· Proven expertise in batch operations support, including job monitoring, restarts, reruns, abend resolution, and data corrections.

· Strong knowledge of ITIL‑based Incident, Problem, Change, and Release Management processes.

· Strong Life Insurance domain experience preferred.

· Experience using ITSM tools such as ServiceNow and Jira

· Demonstrated ability to perform deep technical troubleshooting, RCA, and production recovery.

· Proven experience working under pressure during P1/P2 incidents, meeting strict SLA response and resolution targets.

· Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills (with business users, vendors, infrastructure, and application teams).
