Job Description:
DB2 Advanced SQL (Stored Procedures) Developer
- Develop and maintain various database applications on the IBM iSeries platform, utilizing SQL stored procedures, modernizing tables, performance tuning and working with large transactional tables.
- Expert level experience with SQL stored procedures implementing business logic on the IBM iseries platform. Please give examples of 2 projects where they have done this. Please note that this is a MUST.
Nice to have:
- + experience with coding custom implementations for HFM,oracle financials, etc
- + Conversion/modernization experience from RPG to SQL stored procedures in DB2
- IBM tools such as Aldon, RDI, ACS etc
- + Application development experience interacting with front end using REST APIs, Json
- + exposure to python, microservices, VS code IDE development
- + git source control and integration
