Job Title: Druid Engineer

Location: Irving, Texas

Project Duration: 12 Months

Job Summary

Client is seeking a Druid support Engineer who has strong experience with Druid. Platform support engineering

Roles and Responsibilities:

Design, build, and maintain Druid clusters on onprem.
Monitor the health and performance of Druid clusters, identify and troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to improve performance and availability.
Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to develop and optimize Druid queries and data pipelines.
Work with other members of the engineering team to ensure that Druid clusters integrate seamlessly with other data systems, such as Apache Kafka, Apache Spark, and Google BigQuery.
Develop and maintain automated testing and deployment pipelines for Druid clusters.
Druid ops is required which includes confit

Installation and patch updates

Linux shell scripts

Ansible

Promethesis

Grafana

GKE MYSQL

Primary Skills:

Apache Druid, Google Cloud Platform, Linux, Apache Airflow, Google Compute Engine, GitLab, BigQuery.

Secondary Skills:

Python, Pyspark, PL/SQL, Shell Script

Job Requirements:

8 + years experience in the IT industry
Must hands on experience in Apache Druid

- ArgoCD

- Ansible

- MYSQL

Additional Skills: ShellScript, SQLTeradata is a plus.
