Foreman Installation Refrigeration - Commercial & Industrial

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education / Training

• High school diploma, GED, or completion of trade program or technical school.

• Collegedegree,a plus.

• 5+ years of experience in commercial building construction or other related industry/trade,

• Knowledge of construction principles and practices, including efficient use of labor hours.

Work Experience/Skills

• Ability toorganize tasks.

• Ability touse goodjudgment inmakingwork assignments.

• Ability to give clear instructions and guidance, as needed.

• Ability to maintain project labor hours within acceptable limits and request change orders as needed.

• Ability toensure safe work practices andensure compliance with Safety policies.

• Ability to work with minimal supervision.

• Track recordofpunctuality and dependability.

• Ability to manage time, delegate assignments and follow through to ensuregood results.

• Ability to understand and follow all company policies and procedures and all applicable State and Federal laws.

• Ability to use computer tools including E-Mail, Word, Project Planning Software (Projectmates), etc.

  Work Environment

  This job typicallyoperatesin convenience stores, grocery stores, food service and/or construction environment with need to work at heights from ladders and/or Scissor lifts.?Mechanical rooms can have elevated noise levels.?The positionregularly worksnear/with refrigeration/HVAC equipment that can expose the workers to extreme cold from refrigerant and high heat from brazing operations.?This role routinely works in outside conditions that include inclement weather, heat and humidity, and exposure to dust.?These conditions requireemployeesto use the correct PPE and safe work practices.

  Physical Demands:

  This position isvery activeand requires excellent stamina to perform strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions.Employees areregularly required to walk and stand forlongperiods, hear, drive, sit, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb, usehands and fingers,and lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, occasionally up to 50pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
