Senior Service Virtualization Engineer – Broadcom DevTest
6 – 12-month W2 contract

W2 Hourly Rate: $70/hour
This position is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining service virtualization solutions using Broadcom DevTest. The individual will work closely with both technical and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective virtual service models that support testing and development efforts. A key part of the role involves analyzing system dependencies, building and configuring virtual services, and ensuring they meet performance, reliability, and functional expectations through proper validation.
Beyond initial implementation, the engineer will actively troubleshoot issues within DevTest environments, identify opportunities to enhance service performance, and optimize solutions through custom scripting and automation. Collaboration is critical, as the role requires partnering with internal teams to refine use cases, improve adoption, and provide guidance on when and how to leverage service virtualization effectively. The individual will also engage with Broadcom support for more complex challenges, while contributing to the development of best practices, documentation, and scalable processes across the organization.
Success in this role requires hands-on expertise with Broadcom DevTest (version 10.9.x or similar), along with a strong foundation in service virtualization concepts. Experience working in Windows Server environments (2019/2022) and managing, troubleshooting, and configuring systems is essential. The role also calls for proficiency in scripting languages such as Java or JavaScript to extend platform capabilities and automate behaviors. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills are equally important to align technical solutions with business needs, set expectations, and drive collaboration across teams.
Familiarity with modern deployment environments, including containerization and platforms like OpenShift, is considered a plus and will help support evolving infrastructure and delivery models.
