Cloud Network Engineer

Role: Cloud Network Engineer

Location: Remote

Infrastructure & Network Engineering Responsibilities:

·         Design, implement, and manage AWS infrastructure components to support scalable and secure environments

·         Configure and maintain network firewalls, routing, and secure connectivity (including IPsec VPNs)

·         Manage and troubleshoot IP networking, DNS, and domain-related services

·         Administer and support Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and Windows-based systems

·         Automate infrastructure and configuration management using Ansible, Bash, and PowerShell

·         Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with enterprise standards

·         Support containerization and virtualization platforms (Docker, LXC, VMware, KVM, Xen, Hyper-V)

·         Manage and optimize storage solutions including SAS, NVMe, iSCSI, and object storage (S3)

Operations & Optimization:

·         Maintain system reliability through monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning

·         Conduct detailed log analysis and follow structured troubleshooting methodologies

·         Ensure consistency through automation and standardized processes

·         Strengthen security posture through adherence to enterprise security guidelines

·         Maintain documentation for systems, processes, and configurations

·         Support compliance and governance requirements across infrastructure

Project Delivery & Collaboration:

·          Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement infrastructure solutions

·          Participate in architecture and design discussions aligned with business needs

·          Ensure timely delivery of infrastructure and network-related tasks

·          Provide technical guidance and documentation to stakeholders and support teams

Required Qualifications:

·          Strong experience as a Senior Systems Administrator or Cloud Network Engineer

·          Hands-on expertise with Red Hat Linux and Windows Administration

·          Solid experience with AWS infrastructure and cloud networking

·          Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking, DNS, and IPsec

·          Experience with firewall technologies and edge networking

·          Proficiency in automation tools such as Ansible, Bash, and PowerShell

·          Strong understanding of virtualization and containerization technologies

·          Experience with enterprise storage solutions and networking file systems

·          Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and analytical skills
