Summary
Senior Business Analyst
Location: Boston, MA – 4 days/week onsite
Interview: F2F required
Client is looking for a Senior Business Analyst with strong experience in the Property & Casualty Insurance domain and deep expertise across core insurance systems and digital platforms.
Must-Have Domain Experience
- Policy Administration
- eCommerce platforms
- Billing systems
- Claims systems
- Financial applications
- Third-party integrations such as:
- LexisNexis Prefill
- CREDIT
- MRV
- CLUE
Key Responsibilities
- Perform workflow analysis and create current state / future state documentation
- Prepare Impact Analysis documentation for new systems and enhancements
- Establish standards and best practices for requirements gathering and systems analysis
- Lead requirements elicitation and functional specification for complex projects
- Act as SME for various eCommerce applications
- Work closely with Development, QA, UAT, and Infrastructure teams
- Support full project lifecycle from initiation to closure
- Ensure high-quality deliverables and compliance with standards
- Collect and analyze metrics to drive continuous improvement
Required Experience
- 15+ years in Software Development including Business Analysis
- 10+ years of BA experience in Property & Casualty Insurance
- Strong experience with:
- Web Analytics tools (Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager)
- APIs, Web Services (REST/SOAP)
- SQL, XML, HTML, XSLT, JSON
- Tools: Postman, SOAP UI
- Strong experience with MS Visio (wireframes & workflows)
- MS SQL and database knowledge preferred
- Experience in object modeling, ER diagrams, and state-transition diagrams
- Strong communication and analytical skills
Preferred Certifications
- INS / CPCU
- IIBA – CBAP / AAC
- Project Management certifications (plus)
