Job Summary

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Python Developer with 13+ years of software development experience to design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Python, backend development, APIs, cloud technologies, databases, and modern software engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable applications using Python.
• Build robust backend services, RESTful APIs, and microservices.
• Develop clean, reusable, maintainable, and high-quality code.
• Work with frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
• Design and integrate REST APIs and third-party services.
• Work with relational and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or Redis.
• Develop and optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Implement cloud-based solutions using AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Work with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, QA engineers, product managers, and business teams.
• Perform code reviews and provide technical guidance to junior and mid-level developers.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and provide effective solutions.
• Follow Agile/Scrum methodologies and participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and technical discussions.

Required Skills

• 13+ years of experience in software development with strong hands-on Python experience.
• Expert-level knowledge of Python 3.x and object-oriented programming.
• Strong experience with Django, Flask, and/or FastAPI.
• Excellent understanding of RESTful APIs, Microservices, and distributed systems.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and database design.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of Git, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.
• Experience with automated testing using PyTest or unittest.
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other messaging systems.
• Knowledge of Redis, Elasticsearch, or similar caching/search technologies.
• Experience working with React, Angular, or other frontend technologies is a plus.
• Exposure to AI/ML, Generative AI, LLMs, or data engineering is a plus.
• Experience leading technical projects or mentoring development teams.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
